Bugatti Alatante
Had the privilege of shooting with The Pearl Collection's Bugatti Type 57 Atalante this past weekend at Hampton Court for the Concours of Elegance
The Bugatti Type 57 Atalante was one of the marque’s great design icons, with just 33 ever built. Chassis No. 57428 was completed in 1936 and famously kept by Ettore Bugatti before passing to its first private owner, Jules Bloch.
By the 1950s it had reached Spain, where its original roll-top roof was converted into a full cabriolet. Decades later, in 2020, its current custodian restored the car to its original 1936 specification, roll-top and all.
